IHA is a registered non-profit association (“eingetragener gemeinnütziger Verein” – incorporated charitable association) based in Munich, Germany. IHA’s core mission is providing aid and assistance to refugees in a fast and efficient way and to facilitate the readiness to help of civil society actors. Our work includes: channeling donated relief supplies to locations across Europe, serving as a focal point for volunteer aid workers, building infrastructure in refugee camps, distributing relief supplies and providing psychosocial support and informal educational activities.

IHA as a controller shares relevant data with third-party vendors and/or business partners who perform specific activities linked to services provided to you by IHA (e.g. payment processing, IT and communication services).
The third parties in connection with IHA are: Google (G Suite and Google Forms), MailChimp, fundraisingbox, Webflow, Klarna, Stripe, Paypal. If you register your interest to volunteer via our online volunteering form, in addition to IHA members, your data might be shared with with IHA representatives (employees or freelance contractors), such as volunteer coordinators, in our areas of operation abroad.
