The Child Friendly Space (CFS) in Lagadikia serves as both a child-care solution for parents who want to attend our classes and as a safe space for children to play, be creative and interact with other children. The Project Lead is in charge of planning activities and ensure that the space is safe and welcoming.
You must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 weeks.
We run 3 levels of English at the Centre, ranging from pre-A1 to more advanced conversational classes. English Teachers plan and teach up to 3 lessons a day. We provide resources, lesson plans, and a syllabus.

We run a German Club in our community centre in Lagadikia outside of Thessaloniki 4 days a week and are looking for a reliable and dedicated person to support us in our German teaching efforts. We teach basic German to people of 16 years and older.

The Employment Information Centre is a project that supports people looking for work to find employment and connects people to information. The services are open to people staying in Lagadikia camp, local people living in Lagadikia village, and refugees across Northern Greece.
Responsibilities related to employment services include job searching, connecting people to local employers, CV writing, job applications, developing relationships with local employers, and supporting the running of employability skills development programmes. It also connects residents of Lagadikia camp and refugees across Greece to IHA’s partners offering legal, psycho-social support, and medical services.
Minimum Stay: 10 weeks.
As a Media and Communications Lead you would be responsible for creating and sharing content on our social media channels. If you have experience in photography, social media or communications, this is a great opportunity for you to gain some more experience in a humanitarian grassroots organisation.

The IHA warehouse functions as a humanitarian hub for Northern Greece, supporting several camps and projects in the region. The Logistics Manager supports the Operations Coordinator with organising deliveries, managing the stock, receiving deliveries and sorting donations.
You must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 weeks.
Required: Logistics experience, International Drivers Licence and willing to drive a van
Every Sunday, our community centre is only open for women and their children. Our Women’s Space is a space where women can spend time socialising, doing crafts, cooking, dancing, practising self-care, developing new skills, doing fitness activities, and relaxing. The Women’s Space Project Lead works closely with the Project Coordinator and supports in the running of the space and organising and leading activities for women.
You must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 weeks.
